VEDAY - 80 Beacon
I am honoured to have been given the opportunity by Pageantmaster Bruno Peek CVO OBE OPR to collaborate with my brother in designing the Principal Beacon for the 80th anniversary celebrations commemorating VE-Day. This beacon will mark the historic event, with local communities throughout the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, and the UK Overseas Territories participating.
VizHouz
As part of my final year project for my degree at Nottingham Trent University, my Civic Lab design seamlessly blends the natural beauty of the park with interior spaces through carefully framed views. It also supports individuals with visual impairments by incorporating pottery as a tactile tool, enhancing sensory exploration and spatial awareness. This inclusive and accessible lab hosts workshops and classes designed for people of all abilities, fostering a sense of community through the fusion of nature, art, and engagement.
St. Martins Church Hereford
Special Air Service (S.A.S)
I am immensely privileged to have been selected to create and design a lasting memorial as part of the proposed changes to the North transept. Positioned beneath the stained glass windows dedicated to the SAS, which depict some of their covert operations behind enemy lines, the design will feature a walnut roll of honour panelled wall, with a bronze poppy as the centrepiece.
Bendigo Pavilion
As part of my final year project for my degree at Nottingham Trent University, the Bendigo Pavilion design draws inspiration from pottery, incorporating clay tiles to celebrate Nottingham's rich ceramic heritage. These tiles, suspended on steel wire cables, move with the weather.
The pavilion's design, reminiscent of a boxing ring, honors Bendigo's boxing legacy. At the heart of the concept is tactile alchemy, transforming materials into an interactive and dynamic structure that seamlessly blends innovation, heritage, and artistic expression.
